AML/KYC

This page provides a user-facing explanation of AML/KYC principles that may apply on BrokerIG.

  • AML means Anti-Money Laundering.
  • KYC means Know Your Customer or customer-identity verification.

Depending on the region, product, account role, and risk level, BrokerIG may require a user to provide verification information or documents.

AML/KYC helps to:

  • Protect the platform against fraud.
  • Reduce the risk of money laundering and terrorist financing.
  • Meet legal requirements when applicable.
  • Protect users and the financial system.
  • Handle unusual transactions more safely.

You may be asked to complete verification when:

  • Creating an account.
  • Depositing or withdrawing above a defined threshold.
  • Unusual activity is detected.
  • Applying as a Consultant or Agency Partner.
  • Creating or joining a campaign.
  • Requested by the risk or legal team.
  • Required by a competent authority.

Depending on policy, the platform may request:

  • Full legal name.
  • Email.
  • Phone number.
  • Country or region of residence.
  • Identity documents.
  • Verification photographs.
  • Source-of-funds or purpose-of-use information.
  • Business documents for an Agency Partner or organization.

Not every user is required to provide the same information.

BrokerIG may monitor:

  • Deposit and withdrawal history.
  • Wallet addresses.
  • Transaction frequency.
  • Transaction amounts.
  • Sign-in behavior.
  • Referral activity.
  • Commissions and rewards.
  • Signs of unusual activity or abuse.

When risk is identified, the platform may hold a transaction, review activity, or request additional information.

You must not use BrokerIG for:

  • Money laundering.
  • Terrorist financing.
  • Fraud.
  • Sanctions evasion.
  • Concealing unlawful sources of funds.
  • Using another person’s account.
  • Creating multiple accounts to abuse policies.
  • Manipulating referral or commission programs.

An account may be restricted when:

  • Required verification is not completed.
  • False information is provided.
  • Transactions appear unusual.
  • A policy violation is suspected.
  • Legal or risk-management requirements apply.

If documents are requested, submit them only through an official portal channel or another channel confirmed by BrokerIG.

Do not send identity documents, passwords, Verification Codes, 2FA codes, or Recovery Codes to an unknown bot or a person claiming to be Support.
