Introduction and Onboarding

Onboarding is the process of helping a new user start using BrokerIG correctly: creating an account, signing in, securing the account, understanding the main areas, and preparing before using real funds.

The onboarding process is designed to ensure you do not miss important steps such as the invitation code, 2FA, Recovery Codes, app installation, and the finance guides you should read before making a deposit or withdrawal.

Users normally follow this sequence:

  1. Receive a referral link.
  2. Register an account.
  3. Verify the email address or enter a Verification Code, if required.
  4. Sign in.
  5. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
  6. Save the Recovery Codes.
  7. Install the app on a phone (optional).
  8. Open the Dashboard.
  9. Deposit USDT or use Demo Mode.
  10. Start investing.
Section titled “Step 1: Receive a referral link or invitation code”

The platform requires new accounts to be created with an Invitation Code. Your referrer may send you:

  • A registration link with the code already included.
  • An invitation code to enter manually.
  • A QR code or link shared through a community or private channel.

When you open a referral link, the Invitation Code may be filled in automatically. Always verify it before continuing.

During registration, you provide basic information such as your email address, password, and Invitation Code.

The registration flow may contain several steps:

StepDetails
Step 1Enter your email address, Invitation Code, and optional language.
Step 2Enter the Verification Code sent to your email.
Step 3Choose a username and create a secure password.
Step 4Complete registration and continue to Sign In.

If Continue is disabled, one or more required fields may be missing or invalid.

After registration is complete, sign in with your username and password.

If 2FA is already enabled, the system will also request an Authentication Code. New accounts should enable 2FA immediately after their first successful sign-in.

After entering the portal, open Settings → Profile and review:

  • Account email.
  • Username.
  • User ID, if shown.
  • Display language.
  • Account role.
  • Avatar or display name.

Update incorrect information as soon as possible or contact Customer Support.

2FA adds a second verification factor in addition to your password.

After 2FA is enabled:

  • You may need an Authentication Code when signing in.
  • Withdrawals may use 2FA instead of an email Verification Code.
  • If you lose access to the authenticator device, you will need a Recovery Code.

Do not configure 2FA on a public device or any device you do not fully control.

A Recovery Code is a backup code used when you cannot access your authenticator app.

You should:

  • Store the codes in a secure location.
  • Avoid screenshots on an unsecured device.
  • Never send them through chat.
  • Never share them with Customer Support.
  • Keep an offline copy when possible.

Each Recovery Code may be single-use, depending on the system configuration.

The Telegram bot can provide faster notifications for events such as:

  • Deposits.
  • Withdrawals.
  • Investment results.
  • Security changes.
  • System announcements.

Only link the bot through an official channel. Never enter your password, Verification Code, 2FA code, or Recovery Code into an unknown bot.

Installing the app lets you open BrokerIG from your home screen.

Benefits include:

  • Faster access.
  • A more app-like interface.
  • Fewer browser tabs to manage.
  • A full-screen experience on supported devices.
  • Convenient access to the Dashboard, Finance, and investment features.
